We often field questions about Teach For America’s policy on blogging and, in particular, blogging here. Our confident answer is always that Teach For America officially supports corps members in their efforts to express themselves as individuals through social media channels. Now we want to make sure you know where to find this policy since it’s publicly posted.

Just in case there’s any confusion about their public stance on this issue, you can find the same guidelines posted on their Facebook page.

We’re definitely biased on this issue, and we definitely want to applaud this and other efforts from Teach For America senior leaders who help create a culture that values this type of individualism and expression.

Disclosure: A Teach For Us director and blogger provided feedback on draft versions of this social media policy.
