Where we are most popular

As I continue to sift through our6-months analytics data, I felt it would be cool to share which areas of the country visit Teach For Us the most and also give a shout out to our most active regions.

Below is the list of the states which bring us the most viewership, and I am pleased to say that in eight of the 10, our numbers have increased since the prior six-month period!

  1. New York (up nearly 50%!)
  2. California
  3. Texas
  4. Illinois
  5. Massachusetts
  6. Pennsylvania
  7. Georgia (up nearly 30%!)
  8. Tennessee (up nearly 30%!)
  9. Florida
  10. Missouri (up nearly 30%!)

Our most popular cities by viewership are:

  1. New York, NY (up nearly 100%!)
  2. Chicago, IL
  3. Washington D.C.
  4. Memphis, TN (up nearly 100%!)
  5. Philadelphia, PA
  6. Houston, TX
  7. Atlanta, GA
  8. St. Louis, MO (up nearly 100%!)
  9. Los Angeles, CA
  10. New Orleans, LA

Undoubtedly, much of this traffic has been driven by the outstanding efforts of those bloggers in our most active blogging regions.  Each of the regions listed below posted over 50 times in the second half of 2011:

  1. Mississippi Delta (nearly 200 posts!)
  2. Kansas City
  3. Houston
  4. St Louis
  5. San Antonio
  6. Metro Atlanta
  7. Memphis

By the end of June 2012, let’s get 20 regions on that 50+ post list!

If you are a current Teach For Us bloggers, help spread the word to your fellow CMs and alumni!  If you are a current (or incoming corps member) who regularly reads the site and does not yet have a blog, it’s easy to sign up!  Even one post per month will help increase your corps total and provide great information about your experiences to prospective CMs and the broader education community.
